Here is the thread for updates about Tropical Storm soon-to-be Hurricane Nate.
Nate means: "Gift of God"
The weather service seriously needs to stop putting names on their list that are Hebrew in origin... otherwise we might think God is trying to tell us something...

Hurricane Nate reached the Louisiana coast early Saturday afternoon as a category 2 hurricane. Recognizing Nate as being short for Nathaniel, I wondered if it held any meaning for us. So, I did a little research on the web to see what I could see. Please keep in mind that I am NOT a biblical scholar and do not claim to have any special insight into end-time events. This is what I found and I thought it was interesting enough to share. Nathaniel is a given name derived from the Greek form of the Hebrew נְתַנְאֵל (Netan'el), meaning "God has given". Nathan, was the successor of Samuel and a prophet in the times of David Holy Scripture gives us three different accounts of Nathan’s messianic prophecy, so important was his message in the unfolding of God’s plan. 2 Samuel: 7 and 1 Chronicles: 17 – Are the same account of David’s desire to build a home for God and God's covenant with David and the establishment of the eternal throne of which our Lord Jesus Christ is heir. 2 the king said to Natan the prophet, “Here, I’m living in a cedar-wood palace; but the ark of God is kept in a tent!” 3 Natan said to the king, “Go, do everything that is in your heart, for Adonai is with you.” 11 “‘Moreover, Adonai tells you that Adonai will make you a house. 12 When your days come to an end and you sleep with your ancestors, I will establish one of your descendants to succeed you, one of your own flesh and blood; and I will set up his rulership. 13 He will build a house for my name, and I will establish his royal throne forever. 14 I will be a father for him, and he will be a son for me. If he does something wrong, I will punish him with a rod and blows, just as everyone gets punished; 15 nevertheless, my grace will not leave him, as I took it away from Sha’ul, whom I removed from before you. 16 Thus your house and your kingdom will be made secure forever before you; your throne will be set up forever.’” Psalm: 89 –Speaks of David’s throne, the apostasy of Israel? and ends with the question of when God will pour out His wrath on a sinful people 47 How long, Adonai? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your fury burn like fire? 48 Remember how little time I have! Was it for no purpose that you created all humanity? 49 Who can live and not see death? Who can save himself from the power of the grave? (Selah) 50 Where, Adonai, are the acts of grace you once did, those which, in your faithfulness, you swore to David? 51 Remember, Adonai, the taunts hurled at your servants, which I carry in my heart [from] so many peoples! 52 our enemies, Adonai, have flung their taunts, flung them in the footsteps of your anointed one. In 1980 I watched a program about prophecy in the news. The topic was the anti-Christ and who the most likely candidates were. There was a general agreement that the anti-Christ would be of European descent and speculation that it might be Prince Charles, who would have been 32 at the time. I mention this only because while looking for biblical clues related to Nathaniel, I came across this. One of Handel's best-known works, ‘Zadok the Priest’ based upon 1 Kings 1:38–40, has been sung prior to the anointing of the sovereign at the coronation of every British monarch since its composition and has become recognized as a British patriotic anthem. Zadok the Priest, and Nathan the Prophet anointed Solomon King. And all the people rejoiced, and said: God save the King! Long live the King! May the King live forever, Amen, Alleluia. That reminded me of the prophecy show I saw 37 years ago and inspired me to run the math to see if anything of interest popped up. Queen Elizabeth: April 21, 1926 (age 91) Prince Charles: November 14, 1948 (age 68), Prince William: June 21, 1982 (age 35) Prince Henry: September 15, 1984 (age 33) Please remember this is purely wild supposition. IF the Queen passed away, paving the way for a new King and IF anything happened resulting in the deaths of Prince Charles and Prince William, Prince Henry would become King at the age of 33. The same age Christ was when he began his ministry.
