To understand the Bible and Bible prophecy you first need to understand who the Bible is about. And here's a big hint: the who isn't you (or me). We're minor characters in it. The entire Bible was written because sin entered creation. And because sin entered creation, a perfect God had to deal with this aberration one way or another. The way He has chosen to deal with it ends up being a demonstration of the most important attribute of His character: faithful love. Because of sin, all of creation is able to learn the depth of God's love in a way that could otherwise never be known.
The who is the Promised Seed—the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And through faith, everyone is invited to be joined to that Seed. To understand the prophecy of the Seed and who this Seed is, is to understand Bible prophecy and the whole story of the Bible.
And I fell at [the angel's] feet to worship him. But he said to me, 'See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.' - Revelation 19:10
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the One I meant when I said, 'A Man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me... He must increase, but I must decrease.' " - John 1:29–30; 3:30
Bible prophecy and the Promised Seed are inseparable, which is why we can't teach one without the other. This is also why pastors and Bible teachers who steer clear of prophecy are really steering clear of Jesus Himself.
So, without further ado, here is the Bible in a nutshell...

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures."
visit-r: You have to wonder about Purim. It is an "appointed time" according to Esther 9:27, but it is not a "moedim" appointed feast day. As such, it is usually ignored in end times. Maybe it has some kind of "hidden" significance? Curious, that is the theme.

visit-r: Interesting too EnochWalked. Maybe what the "tomb" represents makes them feel nervous and uneasy?

bernie: Gary, I agree with EW, an update would be awesome. I had a question as well from the same article. You mentioned the 2018-2028 time frame as an interesting possible window for all of it, and I was wondering if that date range has changed for you? Thanks!

Servant: The revealing of 'messiah' in Israel. I cant imagine the reaction.

EnochWalked: Servant: Wow. I don't know if these rabbis have made such claims bold predictions before. I look forward to seeing what happens with the election next month, and Netanyahu's trial. Also "There is a Messiah in potential in every generation" sounds familiar.

Servant: I suggest to take it with a grain of salt. After all, there are many potential candidates for 'messiah'. Still, it's making me . . . uneasy.
Feb 18, 2020 18:06:36 GMT -6
Servant: Reminds me of the warning. "If anyone says to you then, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it." And "So if they say to you, ‘He is in the desert,’ do not go out there; if they say, ‘He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it"

Servant: I am guessing that they will anoint him or ceremony to establish that he is 'messiah' . Anyway, happening so soon to Peace Deal makes one wonder. . .

Natalie: I so look forward to when Israel accepts the true Messiah.
