The following is Zech. Chapter 1 with my analysis.
1 In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
2 The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
3 Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.
4 Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
5 Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
6 But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
7 Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh* month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
The vision begins here at verse 8
8 I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
10 And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
It should be easy to see here at verse 10 that Zechariah is calling the angel of Verse 9 "the man that stood among the myrtle trees." Thus, the angel of Verse 9 is saying here in Verse 10 "These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth."
11 And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
This verse reads "And they" whom the Lord sent (from Verse 10) said to the angel of Verse 9 "We have walked" and "all the earth ... is at rest."
12 Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
Now the chapter get interesting. The angel responds to the ones that walked via commandment (v. 10) saying to the Lord, How long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah? The thing that is interesting is the dual prophetic nature of the verse. Not only is the angel speaking of the cities in the land of Judah, but also Judah as a tribe in Israel. Secondly, and this is the larger point of the verse, Jerusalem is not only a city in Israel but also metaphor for the tribe of Ephraim. Thus verse 12 is saying two things. First, how long will you Lord not have mercy on Judah and it cities, and secondly how long will you Lord not have mercy on the tribes of Ephraim and Judah.
Additionally, Verse 12 informs us the the length of time of the Lord's indignation is 70 years. 1948 + 70 = 2018
13 And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
Now in Verse 13 the Lord answers the angel. Thus we have four players in the chapter thus far. 1) Zechariah, 2) the angel that was called a man, 3) those who walked the earth as commanded by the Lord, and 4) the Lord himself.
14 So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
Now the angel is telling Zechariah what the Lord said which is "I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion" meaning that he wants them for himself. Notice here that Jerusalem from Verse 12 still holds its dual prophetic nature; however, Judah from Verse 12 is now metaphorically called "Zion." Thus, Judah has not only become representative of the tribe but of all Israel.
15 And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
Here in Verse 15 the angel continues with what the Lord has said which is that "the heathen are at ease" as reported by those that the Lord has sent to walk the earth (v. 11) when they said "the earth sitteth still and is at rest." Additionally, here in Verse 15 the angel states that the Lord said that the heathen have "helped forward the affliction" meaning that the heathen are moving the affliction forward. Therefore, buy the report of the earth being at rest (v. 11) then the affliction is being allowed to happen (v. 15) and this is the offence to which the Lord is referring. That the people of the earth are not responding to the affliction of the heathen upon Jerusalem (the city of Jerusalem as well as the tribe of Ephraim) and Zion (the tribe of Judah as well as the saints of God) (v. 14). From this information it should be clear that we are speaking of the time of the beast here in the latter days.
16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
Here in Verse 16 the angel is saying that the Lord said "my house shall be built in it (Jerusalem)." Again there is a dual nature to the language that The House of the Lord will be built in the city Jerusalem, and The House of the Lord shall be built in the tribe of Ephraim.
17 Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
This verse (17) is somewhat linear with the angel instructing Zechariah.
18 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
In my opinion a follower of Christ must truly be weaned from the milk in order to eat the meat of the message in Verse 18. So lets return to Verse 17 that the Lord will "yet choose Jerusalem" and after the angel has told Zechariah to say those things (in Verse 17) then Zechariah sees four horns (v. 18) and this pertains to the resurrection. This is another confirmation that this vision is of the latter days. So how did I make the connection of the four horns to the resurrection. These are the four as referenced in Ezekiel Chapter 1 and Revelation Chapter 4, 9, etc.
19 And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
In this verse Zechariah asks the angel about the four horns and he is told that "these.... have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem." And who scattered the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Ephraim and the city of Jerusalem? God. Therefore, the tribes of Israel (Ephraim in the north and Judah in the south) were scattered because of Judgment and that scattering was carried out by four leaders as identified in the scriptures referenced. Thus, Verse 19 pertains to the gathering of Ephraim, Judah, and the building of Jerusalem as well as The House of God within each.
20 And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
The four carpenters are the four horns (v. 18 & 19). The fact that they are carpenters should help reveal that these four are builders of the kingdom of God.
21 Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
This verse made me smile that my analysis is correct. The four leaders that scattered Judah as well as Ephraim and the city of Jerusalem have come to cast out the horns (leaders) of the Gentiles that are the ten horns of The Book of Revelation that lift up their horn that is the beast over the land of Judah to scatter it meaning Judah. That is, one horn that is the beast is lifted by the other horns that are the ten to scatter Judah that metaphorically means both the tribe of Ephraim and Judah and this is the reign of the beast upon the earth as referenced in the BoR. And, these four leaders are going to "cast out" (Rev. 19:20) the beast and the false prophet and those who follow them (Rev. 14:11).
Thanks for reading my analysis of Zech. Chapter 1.

Chapter 2
Continuing from Chapter 1 where Zechariah is shown a vision and speaking with an angel.
1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
Here we see that Verse 2:1 has a relationship with Verse 1:18 that indicates the man with the line is one of the four horns as follows:
v. 1:18, "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns." v. 2:1 "I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand."
Another important detail is that in Verse 1:8 an angel was talking to Zechariah that in the next verse (1:10) was called a man. Likewise here in Verse 2:1 is a man that in the next is speaking to Zechariah. Thus, the angel that is called a man in Chapter 1 is the angel that is called a man in Chapter 2.
2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
Zechariah asks the man where he is going to which the man responds "To measure Jerusalem." This is reminiscent of John in Rev. 11:1-2 measuring the temple in Jerusalem.
3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
Here in Verse 2:3 we see that the man of Verse 2:1 is the angel that is talking to Zechariah. However, now we see that a second angel going out to meet the first. Again this is strong link to the angel of Revelation Chapters 10 and 11 that went to meet John.
4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
Here Zechariah tells us that the second angel instructs the first to "run" and speak to Zechariah "saying Jerusalem ...." Again we have that dual nature of the prophecy in that Jerusalem is one city and not inhabited towns. In this understanding Jerusalem is again latter day Ephraim living in towns etc. without walls throughout the world. Secondly, the Jerusalem is the city proper with it's attached cities: ie. East Jerusalem, Bethpage (Beth pa gee), etc.
5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
In Verse 2:5 we have the protection of Jerusalem that is like the protection of Israel during the time of Moses where Pharaohs armies were held back by a wall of fire. Thus, Verse 2:5 has a type and shadow relationship with that historical event. Not only that but this is the third link in this Chapter to Revelation Chapter 11. However, this link is solid in that the two witnesses protect Jerusalem however they see fit to include plagues and so forth. Thus, Zechariah 2:5 solidly links to Revelation 11:6. Also notice that the second angel of Chapter 2 is quoting the Lord or is the Lord.
6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
Here we have a call to Israel to "come forth." This call is not only for the migration of Ephraim to America for religious liberty (1600s to present day), but also the call of Judah to the nation state of Israel for the same reason (1948). A greater point of the prophecy is that they are to flee from the land of the north linking the Assyrian capture of Ephraim (@700bc) to the verse and this link confirms the application of the verse to the American migration. Lastly and most importantly is the application of Verse 2:6 to Verse 2:5 in that Jerusalem is protected and the people are to flee from the land north to Jerusalem. Thus, God's people should flee to Jerusalem to be protected. In this application Jerusalem is not necessarily one specific location upon the earth but a location. This of course is a rapture and it links to Revelation 18:4. Now it is clear that the second angel is not the Lord when he says "saith the Lord."
7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
Continuing from the call in Verse 2:6, Zion that is Judah is told to deliver herself. Also we are told that Judah is dwelling with the daughter of Babylon. We at this time in history can see that this is Judah as in the nation state of Israel commingled with the Palestinians. Thus, as the wall of fire (v. 2:5) encompass' Jerusalem, Judah is told to come forth and deliver herself. The secondary application to Verse 2:5 is that Ephraim is told to deliver herself in the rapture; however, this connection is somewhat weak.
8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
Again we can see that the second angel is not the Lord but is quoting the Lord. Remember that the second angel is speaking to the first angel and telling the first angel what to say to Zechariah (v. 2:4). Thus the Lord is saying via the second angel "After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you." This is a brilliant riddle and easily solved. Remember that the second angel is speaking unto the first and is saying tell Zechariah "After the glory hath he (the second angel) sent me (the first angel) unto the nations which spoiled you." That is, the second angel has sent the first angel to the nations that spoiled Israel. I hope that you can see the solution of the riddle. The first angel is going defend Israel; that is, after the glory the first angel will usher in the wrath of God (Rev. 16 etc.). So what is the glory but the fire of Verse 2:5 and the rapture of Verse 2:6.
9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
In Verse 2:9 the second angel is continuing the instruction to the the first angel about what to say to Zechariah. Thus, "for behold I (the first angel) ...." That is, the Lord of hosts has sent the first angel of Verse 2:3 via the instructions of the second angel of that verse. Does any of this sound familiar? Yes; it is Revelation Chapter 10 in which John is instructed by the angel. That is, John is the first angel here in Zech. 2.
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Chapter 3
In the previous Chapter, Zechariah spoke to an angel that was a man and that angel received instruction from a second angel. That instruction included the words of the Lord to Zechariah.
1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
Here in Verse 3:1 Zechariah informs us that he was also shown Joshua standing before the angel of the Lord. It is easy to see that there are four players in this portion of the verse: 1) he who is showing the vision, 2) Zechariah, 3) Joshua, and 4) the angel of the Lord. Since Verse 3:1 is a continuation of the vision from Chapters 1 and 2, then the one showing the vision in Chapter 3 is the first angel that is a man (vv. 1:9-10, 2:1-3), and the angel of the Lord in Chapter 3 (v. 3:1) is the second angel of Chapter 2 (v. 2:3). Next we have the riddle to solve that Satan is standing at his right hand to resist him. This pertains to the angel of the Lord, that Satan is at his right hand to resist him. Thus the verse reads as follows:
"And he (the first angel that is a man) shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel (the second) of the LORD, and Satan standing at his (the second angel's) right hand to resist him (the second angel)."
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Like before in Chapter 2 where the Lord speaks through his angel (the second) to the first (v. 2:4) and that message was then to Zechariah; now we have the Lord speaking to Satan. The question of course is How is he doing this? The answer is that Satan in Verse 3:1 is at the angel's (the second's) right hand. Thus it should be easy to see that the Lord speaking to Satan in Verse 3:2 is exactly like the Lord speaking to Zechariah in Verse 2:2-5. That is, the Lord is speaking through his angel.
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Thus, in addition to Satan at the "angel of the Lord's" right hand, there is Joshua standing before the angel of the Lord. Additionally, Joshua is clothed with filthy garments.
4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Now we see the angel of the Lord answering what? The issue of Joshua having filthy garments. Thus, the angel of the Lord spoke to those before him saying "Take away ..." and said unto Joshua " Behold ...." So who is before the angel of the Lord that can be commanded to put clean garments upon Joshua? Zechariah and the first angel.
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
Here in Verse 3:5 Zechariah saying "Let them set a fair mitre upon his (Joshua's) head" and they did. Thus, he is including himself as giving instruction for the fair mitre as well as placing it upon Joshua's head. In addition Zechariah and the first angel clothed Joshua with garments. The angel of the Lord stood by.
6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
Here in Verse 3:7 we see the angel of the Lord giving instruction to Joshua to keep his garments clean and by so doing he will walk with Zechariah and the first angel.
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the branch.
Now in Verse 3:8 we get to the meat of the Chapter. Joshua the high priest and his fellows (the brethren) that sit before him are told that he (the Lord) will bring forth his servant the branch. Now we see that the servant is a branch or perhaps better put a branch of Israel and this is the 144,000 that are referenced in the BoR. Thus, Zechariah and his brethren are the 144,000 and the reference to the garments being dirty and clean links to Revelation 16:15 that to be among this group you must have clean garments otherwise Satan will see their shame.
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
In addition to the above verses from the Lord via his angel he states that he has laid a stone; the stone is the 144,000. Upon this stone is seven eyes and these are the seven spirits/angels in the BoR. Further, he (Lord Jesus) will remove the iniquity of the land in one day and this of course is the wrath of God.
10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
This is a great verse wherein the Lord is saying in conclusion that after the destruction of that day (v. 3:9) mankind will be at peace.

Chapter 4
This Chapter naturally follows Chapter 3 in which there were four individuals: the angel showing the vision, Zechariah, Joshua, and the angel of the Lord. Both the first and second angels were in chapter 2, and only the first angel was in Chapter 1. In addition to these four individuals there was also Satan in Chapter 3. Presumably Joshua's garments were filthy via that association with Satan and he was given clean garments. Lastly, Joshua and his brethren were identified as the 144,000 that are in the BoR with Joshua perhaps being one of the seven angels. Not that he was one of the seven angels but he may have been a type of the seven angels in a type and shadow relationship for the purposes of Chapter 3.
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
Here again in Chapter 4 we have the angel of Chapters 1, 2, and 3 speaking to Zechariah.
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
Here in Verse 4:2 we are told of a a candlestick of Gold that is clearly Lord Jesus. He has a bowl with his seven lamps and seven pipes (trumpets) and this is information is found in the BoR at Verses 4:5, and 8:2 among others. Thus, the bowl with the seven lamps therein is the instrument of power and authority by which Christ will act. The seven lamps are the seven angels, and the seven pipes are the seven trumpets. As you may recall from Chapter 3 there were seven eyes (v. 3:9) that were carved by the Lord onto a stone. Thus we have a simile between Verse 3:9 and Verse 4:2 in which the stone is now represented as the bowl and the seven eyes are now represented as the seven lamps. Thus, the bowl is the 144,000 as identified in Verse 3:9.
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
Now we are told that on each side of the bowl is an olive tree (two total). This is an elementary Verse because these two are given in Rev. 11:4 as the two witnesses. Thus, we have the two witness on each side of the 144,000 of the BoR.
4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Again Zechariah engages the angel with a question (v. 4:4-5) concerning the vision as he has done previously at Verse 1:9 etc.
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Keep in mind that Zechariah is asking the angel what the two candle sticks are, and the angel responds that this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel. Therefore, the angel is calling Zechariah, Zerubbabel, and saying in reference to the two candle sticks that they are not by his might or power but by his spirit. That is, the two witnesses are not of might or power but spirit. Thus, they function beyond the natural forces of mankind.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Now the fire works of the Chapter. "Who art thou, O great mountain" meaning Who art thou O Israel (the angel) before Zerubbabel. That is, who is this angel speaking to Zechariah. Can you see it? "Thou (the angel) shall become a plain (contrasting mountain to plain meaning not great) and he (the angel) shall bring forth the headstone (Christ) with the sacred hosanna shout (Psalms 118). The contrast of the angel being great and then not great is that in comparison to the 144,000 he is great but in comparison to the Savior he is not. Since we were speaking of the two candle sticks it should be obvious that the first and second angels here in Zech. Chapters 1-4 are these two candlesticks and therefore are the two witnesses of Rev. Chapter 11. However, the angel speaking to Zechariah is the one to bring forth the Lord as in Psalms 110.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The angel is still speaking.
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
Here in Verse 4:9 we are given a literal statement pertaining to the construction of the temple that Zerubbabel laid the foundation thereof. Additionally and continuing from the previous verse speaking of the angel "Israel" "his hands shall also finish it" meaning he is the one to build the third temple. Then "thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you; the tribes of Israel. Thus, in Verse 4:9 the name Zerubbabel has an application to two individuals: 1) Zerubbabel the man that laid the foundation and built the temple, and 2) the angel herein called Israel that will build the latter day temple. Again, this is classic scripture and it links to Revelation 11:1-2 showing that the one to build the latter day temple is John the beloved.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
This verse (v. 4:10) made me smile because it reminded me so much of the BoR. Again Zerubbabel metaphorically represents someone but this time it is the Savior Lord Jesus. Thus, following from the previous verse wherein John was sent to the tribes of Israel, we are not told in Verse 4:10 that that event was a "small thing." That is, John being sent to build the temple was a "small thing" compared to Christ with his seven angels that run to and fro through the whole earth (Rev. 5:6).
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Now Zechariah asks the angel what are the two olive trees are that are next to the two candlesticks. Of course we know from Rev. 11:4 that the two olive trees and the two candlesticks are the two witnesses.
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
This question (v. 4:12) should be easy for everyone to answer since it is simply a change in metaphor for the two witnesses and the oil is the power of God (Rev. 11:6).
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Please note that these two individuals are not secular in nature but function only for Lord Jesus in and with his godly power.

Chapter 5
1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
Zechariah sees a flying role in the sky and this is a rocket.
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
The angel (the first of Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and now 5) inquires as to what Zechariah has seen (v. 5:2) and he (Zechariah) states that the flying role is 20 cubits long and 10 cubits wide.
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
Here in Verse 5:3 the angel explains that the flying role (rocket) is a curse upon the earth.
4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
That the flying role (rocket) will consume the wicked.
5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
Now in Verse 5:5 the angel instructs Zechariah to lift up his eyes again to see what is in the sky.
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
And it is an ephah (v. 5:6) that is a resemblance through all the earth. That is, there are many of these rockets throughout the earth.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
And a woman is sitting in the midst of the epahah (rocket) (v. 5:7) and there is a talent of lead. You may recall that lead is decayed nuclear material. Thus, the woman is nuclear in the rocket.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
Verse 5:8 is a parallel statement first of which is that the angel casts the woman into the midst of the ephah and restated the angel casts the talent of lead onto the mouth of the ephah. Thus again the woman is the talent of lead meaning nuclear material.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
Although these verses are very serious in nature, the idea of a storks wings is funny to me. Nevertheless, Verse 5:9 tells us that following the description of what the woman is, there is more than one and they have wind in their wings meaning they fly very fast. Additionally, they lifted up the ephah (rocket) between the earth and heaven (the sky).
10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
Here in Verse 5:10 Zechariah inquires where these women are going that are lifting the ephah (rocket) into the sky.
11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
And the angel answers that these women are going to build a house in the land of Shinar. That is, the women are going to conquer Shinar. Thus, the women that are missiles are carrying nuclear material with wind in their wings lifting the ephah (nuclear weapon) into the sky to conquer the land of Shinar. This interpretation can be refined somewhat but that is basically what Zech. Chapter 5 is saying.

Chapter 6
This chapter appears to be a challenge for me; however the key to the Chapter is the word "brass" (v. 6:1) that references the Savior. That is, the metal that references the Savior is often brass as in Rev. 1:15 "his feet like unto fine brass," in addition to other references throughout the scriptures.
1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
Therefore, the two mountains of brass (v. 6:1) are God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ and the verse states that four chariots came out from God.
2 & 3 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
I love Verse 6:4 because Zechariah comes right out and calls the angel "lord."
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
Now we have confirmation that my analysis of Verse 6:1 is correct. "These (the four chariots) ... go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth." At this point we should go to the "Lord of all the earth" link; Verse 4:14, for the correct interpretation of Verse 6:5 to wit: and I say to wit because all the information is given to us pertaining to the identity of "the four spirits of the heavens" (v. 6:5) that are the four chariots (v. 6:1). To aid in showing this analysis please consider Revelation 4:6-9 that speaks of the four beasts. These are God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ as identified in Verse 6:1 as well as the first angel of Zech. Chapters 1-6 and the second angel that is the angel of the Lord (v. 3:1). Thus, the four chariots are identified as God the Father, Lord Jesus Christ, the angel of the Lord, and John. These four interact throughout the BoR ie. Rev. 1:1 among others. Secondly, when the two witnesses (the angel of the Lord and John) work in Jerusalem, they having Lord Jesus with them as well as God the Father, then all four are there. I hope that you can see this.
6 & 7 The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.
Thus, these four now identified with the colors of the horses go forth unto all the earth. And here is another mind blowing clue: Revelation 5:6/16:1 states that Lord Jesus sent the seven spirits/angels "forth/go your ways" "into/upon" the earth. Thus, the four chariots are represented by the seven angels when these seven go forth unto all the earth. Secondarily, the 144,000 participate with the seven angels in some capacity. Thus, the four chariots (v. 6:1) as well as the seven angels (v. 16:1) and the 144,000 (v. 14:1) are engaged in going forth upon the earth.
8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
Here in Verse 6:8 the angel cried and this of course links in my mind to John crying in Rev. 5:4. Thus, the angel / John is crying because of the destruction in the north country; he is sad. Because, the four chariots have destroyed the enemy.
9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The word of the Lord came unto Zechariah via the angel.
10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
Those of the captivity are the saints held captive. This pertains to the gathering of saints after the destruction of the beast. Although there was a period of rapture, there remain newly repentant souls.
11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
From Verse 3:8 Joshua includes his fellows; his brethren and this is the 144,000.
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Thus the connection to The Branch at Verse 3:8 via Joshua (v. 6:11). This again is application pertains to the 144,000 of whom John presides (Rev. 9:13-15). Thus, "The Branch" includes that branch of Israel.
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Again, the Branch builds the temple of the Lord and "he" (John) shall bear the glory. Because, the third temple will be called John's temple just like the first was called Solomon's and the second was called Zerubbabel's. Additonally, "the council of peace shall be between them both"; Lord Jesus and his John the beloved. I hope no one gets mad at me for stating this so candidly.
14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.
15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me (the angel / John) unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Chapter 7
The interpretation of these "Zechariah" Chapters is entirely my own work and on the spot. So I hope that no one is offended. I am simply going from the first to the last verse in each chapter and giving my quick summation.
1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
In Verse 7:1 Zechariah gives us the date, and where he is at (Chisleu). He did this in Verses 1:1 and 1:7 as well.
2 When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the Lord,
In Verse 7:2 we are told that "they" "sent unto the house of God ...." "to pray before the Lord. Thus, they are the people that are not of God.
3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?
Not only to pray (v. 7:2) but to also speak to "the priests" and "prophets ..." as to what the Lord is requiring of them.
4 Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,
Thus, here is the Lord's response.
5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
Say to them ....
6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
And when you ate ....
7 Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
The Lord spoke to you via the former prophets; the written word. You have been told what the Lord asks of you.
8 And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,
9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
Be good to one another.
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Take care of the poor and down trodden.
11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
But "they" the people would not do as I asked.
12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.
Consequently, great wrath is come from the Lord.
13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:
Verse 7:13 is a hard thing to hear because the Savior is saying that if we do not follow his commandments to love one another and care for the poor then he will not hear us when we cry unto him during his wrath.
14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
Verse 14 tells us of the scattering of the people via God's wrath. Thus Chapter 7 is saying not to ask the Lord what we should do because he has already told us via the prophets. Additionally, it is for this reason that the people are scattered via judgment. Since the former Chapters (1-6) are all latter day prophecy, then Chapter 7 is as well. Thus the scattering of the people via the wrath of God here in Chapter 7 is latter day prophecy. Put another way, those who do not follow God will be scattered via his wrath.

Chapter 8
1 Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
Like the previous chapter, Zechariah is leaving out that the angel is speaking to him.
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
This verse (v. 8:2) is a past tense repeat of Verse 1:14. Thus the jealousy of the Lord has been satisfied between these two verses via the wrath of God.
3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
Again a past tense repeat that is Verse 1:16. Notice the metaphor "mountain" that means kingdom or nation. Thus, "the nation of the Lord of hosts the holy nation." This is classic metaphor usage for scripture of which Ezekiel doe not use.
4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
6 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
The remnant of the people are those who remain after the wrath of God. These are they that went on the rapture like Noah.
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
Again a classic scriptural message.
9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
Now (v. 8:9) some scriptural meat in the form of a chiasmus: "Let your hands be strong, that the temple might be built" "ye that hear in these days the words by the mouth of the prophets." The words by the mouth of the prophets is the words including Zechariah's "which were (the words were) in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid." That is the words of Zechariah were spoken many years ago and we that now hear his words, let your hands be strong to build the temple. This verse (8:9) is basically restating Verse 6:15.
"Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built."
10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
Here (v. 8:10) Zechariah has returned to before the wrath of God and this links to Isaiah Chapter 19 via "everyone against his neighbor."
11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
This (v. 8:11) is a reference to the up coming 1,000 year sabbath for the earth.
12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
The seed is the remnant of Israel. Thus Zechariah (v. 8:12) is now referencing the time after the wrath of God. There are multiple links in this verse such as the seed, vine, ground, heavens etc. that all metaphorically represent the remnant. I like the link of the "seed" to Isaiah 6:13 and the link of the "dew" to Isaiah 18:4 (like context reversals). It's just something that caught my eye.
13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
In this verse (v. 8:13) we go from present time (the present time after the wrath) to past time (the time before the wrath). Thus the verse can be reversed to say: "O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong; and it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen." Thus, both houses of Judah and Ephraim are a blessing but to the heathen a curse. Secondly, the reference is to the "hands"; therefore, it (v. 8:13) pertains to the building of the temple in Jerusalem.
14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
Here (v. 8:14) the Lord is saying that he did not change his mind concerning his wrath even though it would punish those who did not need punished.
15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
Therefore, I (the Lord) will "do well unto" Ephraim and Judah. You know, make it up to them because they were caught in the fray.
16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Verse 8:16 begins with the Lord's instructions followed by (vv. 8:17-23) details of the post-wrath world.
17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. 18 And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying, 19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. 20 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: 21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. 22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. 23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew*, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Chapter 9 1 The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.The phrase "the burden of" is typically an introduction to a prophecy pertaining to a nation, city etc.2 And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.3 And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.4 Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.6 And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
Here at Verse 9:7, "Ashdid" from the previous verse is destroyed and the blood he sought as well as his abominations are no more. Secondly, he that remains after the events is for God and although the reference in the verse is that he is "as a governor in Judah," he does not receive the accolades of the people. Thus he is as Ekron was a Jebusite. Can you see the type and shadow relationship between he "as a governor in Judah" and "Ekron as a Jebusite"? That is, he is not accepted by his people Judah even though he has protected them. This (v. 9:7) is of course a general repeat of previous verses with a twist. That is, of the two witnesses (Rev. 11), one in particular is responsible for protecting Judah as their governor. You know, the wall of fire thing etc. (Rev. 11:5-6). This someone is rejected even though he holds the birthright as a Davidic King. Thus, he is as a Davidic King in Judah but they, his people, reject him. Keep in mind that he is one of the two witnesses and I have already shared that this is John the beloved of the Savior. I hope that I have not gone to far sharing this information. 8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
Again a smile on my face. I like the phrase "for now I have seen with mine eyes." This is the Savior Lord Jesus speaking that he will encamp about Jerusalem because of his army and this is the saints in the city. Because of whom? The one in the previous verse (v. 9:7). Thus, Lord Jesus has seen the protection of the city via the two witnesses one of which is the governor of Judah holding the birthright. I realize that all this information is not explicitly stated in the verse but I am trying to provide all the pertinent information as concisely as possible. 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.Evidence that my analysis of the previous verse (v. 9:8) is correct is found here in Verse 9:9. "Rejoice greatly O daughter of Zion (remnant of Judah) shout O daughter of Jerusalem (remnant of Ephraim), Behold thy King cometh unto thee." That is, thy governor (v. 9:7) has come to you in Jerusalem (v. 9:8) and he is one (v. 9:7) of the two witnesses (Rev. 11:5-6) that protected you and he is your Davidic King. Secondly, "he is just and having Salvation (Lord Jesus) lowly and riding upon an ass ...." That is, Lord Jesus rode upon an ass 2,000 years ago and this governor (v. 9:7) that is one of the two witness' (Rev. 11:5-6) brings Lord Jesus to you as he (Lord Jesus) was 2,000 years ago. Verse 9:9 is truly beautiful scripture.
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
This verse (v. 9:10) is the real mind bender that after the two witnesses, one of which is a Davidic King by birthright, have protected Jerusalem, and celebrated their testimony of Lord Jesus Christ, they are killed by traitors in Jerusalem (Rev. 11:7). It is for this reason that Lord Jesus withdraws Ephraim from Jerusalem (v. 9:10). That is, Lord Jesus withdraws his 144,000 from Jerusalem that now it is fair game for the beast to attack. Also notice that Judah remains in the city. 11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
Verse 9:11 states clearly that the beast is now enticed to attack Jerusalem in the great battle of Armageddon; "send forth thy prisoners out of the pit" and this is Rev. 16: 16. 12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; However, now it is not the two witnesses nor the 144,000 on the battlefield but Lord Jesus himself defending the "strong hold" Jerusalem.13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
Here in Verse 9:13 we see the Savior saying that he bent Judah to himself and armed Ephraim (the 144,000) and raised up sons O Zion (Judah) against O Greece (Apollyon) (Rev. 9:11). Included from Stormyknight's posting below: "The picture of the war at the end of chapter 9 of Zechariah really 'fleshes out' what I see of the end time war. Apollyon comes out of the pit and, with his spirit, drives those people under his sway with a blinding madness to fight his fight against our Savior Jesus. This is not just a battle between nations. It is a titanic battle for the mastery of the everything, which has already been won when Jesus died and rose again. "Read more: board.unsealed.org/thread/1856/zechariah?page=1#ixzz5hxveg9nN14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
However, now you wicked are dealing with God standing personally on the battlefield. 15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. Thus the Lord himself defends them, the people of Jerusalem. Thus, the saints in Jerusalem shall cheer with glee. Notice that they shall "devour and subdue with sling stones" those wicked within their ranks and they will be filled like bowls (v. 4:2) and who is the bowls but the 144,000. Thus the people of Jerusalem will be like the 144,000 of Ephraim.16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.Happy days in the new millennium.

Chapter 10
This chapter was much more difficult to interpret than Chapters 1 through 9.
1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
This verse (v. 10:1) makes a reference to the "latter rain" and this is the spring rains in the land of Israel. Evidence that this is correct is the "grass in the field." Thus, it is not the fall rains but the latter rains of the Hebrew calendar year; the spring rains. However, this verse is not literal but metaphorical as a simile and is the chapter thesis: to "make bright clouds" (warriors for God), give them showers of rain (growth), to everyone grass in the field (to God's people). I am including stormykinght's comments from his posting below. "I would add that this refers to the knowledge/wisdom/teaching that the church is receiving now in this end time, "the latter rain" as in; we are getting the nourishment we need before the end from the 'living water'. "
2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
This verse (v. 10:2) is cryptic about the vain. "The idols have spoken": "to comfort in vain," the "troubled" with "no shepherd." That is, the Lord's people left him and as a consequence they were scattered; Ephraim to the north via the Assyrian invasion and Judah throughout Europe via the Romans. "Think of any idol in this day, money, cars, tel-evangelists, sports. All are vanity and those backing them know it's a sham, "diviners have seen a lie"
3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
Here in Verse 10:3 we find that the Lord "was" against the shepherds of Ephraim and Judah, and he and punished the goats that are rebellious Israel (via the scattering of Israel). Thus, the "was" as in past tense; however, things have now changed in the latter days and he has now made Ephraim and Judah "his goodly horse" ready for battle. Today Judah is truly a people ready for battle and Ephraim will soon be called by the Lord. "This makes me think of the video that Gary just posted about Jared Kushner and the leaders of Israel today."
4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
This verse (v. 10:4) states "out of him" four times. Thus, out of Lord Jesus Christ came forth the corner stone (Psalms 118:22), and the nail on the wall ("And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place;"Isa.22:23, "and to give us a nail in his holy place," Ezra 9:8), and the battle bow (), and every oppressor together (Psalms:118:10-11).
5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
And they (Judah and Ephraim from Verse 10:3) will confound the "riders of the horses" (Rev. 9).
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
Again, the house of Judah is the tribe of Judah and the house of Joseph is the tribe of Ephraim. Thus, the house of Israel (Judah and Ephraim) are strengthened (v. 10:6) in battle (v. 10:5) as though they had "never been cast off." That is, they enter battle as they did with Moses and Joshua etc. with the Arc of the Covenant. This explains the purpose of Chapter 10 because all the former information in this Chapter was included in Chapters 1 through 9. However, this is a big deal: the army of Israel will be devastating against the enemy and the Arc of the Covenant is with them. The Arc was discovered by Ron Wyatt and it currently rests in a cave below Jerusalem.
7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
Here we have the 144,000 of Verse 14:1 that they are so happy in the Lord.
8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
"Redeemed" (Rev. 14:3). The 144,000 are redeemed for that which is coming. These are alive and upon the earth today but soon will be called forth.
9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
For me this verse is understood easily when written is it's chaistic form. "And I will sow them among the people and they shall live with their children. And they shall remember me in far countries and turn again." The 144,000 are sewn (born) among the people and living with their families at this time. They as well as their families etc. are "turned again" meaning called again to the service of the Lord and that is the rapture.
10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
Egypt is the U. S. Thus, the Lord brings the saints out of the U. S. as well as other places throughout the world to the land of where? This makes me smile "and place shall not be found for them." Why? Because they are taken!
11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
To "smite the waves in the sea" (v. 10:10) is to destroy the enemy. "All the deeps of the river (army) shall dry up, and the pride of Assyria (the beast) shall be brought down." "And the sceptre (staff) of Egypt (the U. S.) shall depart away." That is, the governance of the U. S. constitution over the world shall depart away. Because, Lord Jesus presides during his 1,000 year governance over the earth.
12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

Chapter 10 This chapter is taking a little work on my part; not finished yet. 1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. This verse (v. 10:1) makes a reference to the "latter rain" and this is the spring rains in the land of Israel. Evidence that this is correct is that the "grass is in the field." Thus, it is not the fall rains but the latter rains of the Hebrew calendar year; the spring rains. However, this verse is not literal but metaphorical and it is the theme of the Chapter: to "make bright clouds" (Rev. 1:7), give them showers of rain, to everyone grass in the field (the people of God). I would add that this refers to the knowledge/wisdom/teaching that the church is receiving now in this end time, "the latter rain" as in; we are getting the nourishment we need before the end from the 'living water'.2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. This verse (v. 10:2) is cryptic about the vain. Think of any idol in this day, money, cars, tel-evangelists, sports. All are vanity and those backing them know it's a sham, "diviners have seen a lie"3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle. Here in Verse 10:3 we find that the Lord is against the shepherds (the leaders of Israel) and the goats (rebellious Israel) are punished and Judah is made into a people ready for battle. And they truly are a people ready for battle today. Thus the continuity of Verses 10:1-3 is that the time of the spring rain is the time of the vain as well as the time that Judah is ready for battle. This makes me think of the video that Gary just posted about Jared Kushner and the leaders of Israel today.4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. This verse (v. 10:4) states "out of him" four times. Thus, out of Lord Jesus Christ came forth the corner stone (Psalms 118:22), and the nail on the wall ( "And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place;"Isa.22:23, "and to give us a nail in his holy place," Ezra 9:8), and the battle bow (), and every oppressor together (Psalms:118:10-11). 5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. And they (Judah from Verse 10:3) ....
10:5). 7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.Here we have the 144,000 of Verse 14:1. 8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased."Redeemed" (Rev. 14:3).9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. This is the saints among the people of the earth that are scattered at this time around the world living with their children but they will be called on the rapture. 10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.Egypt is the U. S. Thus, the lord brings the saints out of the U. S. as well as other places throughout the world to the land of where? And they are not welcome. 11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.Since the saints are rejected then the blessings are removed from the earth.12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.wonderful work, boraddict. I've always liked Zechariah and Ezekiels visualizations. The picture of the war at the end of chapter 9 of Zechariah really 'fleshes out' what I see of the end time war. Apollyon comes out of the pit and, with his spirit, drives those people under his sway with a blinding madness to fight his fight against our Savior Jesus. This is not just a battle between nations. It is a titanic battle for the mastery of the everything, which has already been won when Jesus died and rose again.

Thank you Stormy. I had always know that Zechariah was a great resource of latter day prophecy but I rarely crack its pages. Interesting that you mention Ezekiel because I never crack those pages. I was quite surprised when I found in Zechariah the two witnesses.
Chapter ten was a bit of a challenge because I could not find the thesis. I did find it however right there in Verse 10:1 where it should be.
I am continuing to work on that posting and will add your comments.

boraddict, I think your analysis of chapter 5 was dead on. We must always keep in mind what the prophets had in their experience to refer to when trying to explain what they are seeing. A flying roll 15'x30' would be an apt description of a ICBM rocket. I didn't make the connection with the lead, but that makes total sense now with your explanation. Another visualization that deeply interested me was Ezekiel's 'wheel within a wheel'. An image of an atom is what comes to mind for me. I'm not sure how the wings fit in except maybe the orbits of the electrons but that is where I get the wheels and also the eyes, the electrons themselves and as far as moving in any direction without turning, well that would be entirely possible. And as far as the size, well maybe things are bigger in Texas... I mean, Heaven! I don't think we know enough about the quantum realm yet to know just how powerful things are on the atomic level.

Stormy, that is a lot to consider. To live in the sun is to live in an atomic world, as, to live in the Son is to live in the resurrection. Ezekiel Chapter 1 is about the resurrection but now as you have pointed out it includes something atomic. Your connection of Ezekiel's "wheel within a wheel" to the atom is brilliant and profoundly astute.

I wonder about that for long time. I remember that Moses's encounters at the mountain, desiring to see the Lord. The Lord has to show back of face while walking to pass the crack in the wall, etc. And then the glow on Moses's face after facing the Lord on the mountain, etc. Even the Bible said that the mountain would melt before the Lord.
I wonder if it was the radiation or something physical that might be dangerous to humans? Maybe that why one of the reasons of transformation of our bodies to Heaven is necessary to live there and not get hurt? I have to study more on this.
