I did not see a link or thread started for this so I am creating one here .........
If you do not wish to read the article (there are several videos on it as well)
The Gist of the subject -- The object first discovered in 2017....
Given its high speed and its unusual trajectory, the reddish, stadium-sized whatever-it-is had clearly come from outside our solar system.
But its flattened, elongated shape and the way it accelerated on its way through the solar system set it apart from conventional asteroids and comets.
Just thought to pass on for comments ........
Note Harvard says it is Space aliens!!!!

I will try to find the animated flight path it took. It happened the same week that many in the scientific community were emphatically denying the existence of Planet 9 or X or whatever you want to call it. That "rock" came in so fast that as close as it came to the sun it still avoided being pulled it by the gravitational pull. It also had material so dense that the heat of the sun did not burn it up as it leaves no trail like a typical comet that.
They did not even discover it until it was on its way back out of the solar system.
The community is so divided... you have a bunch of "old geezers" that are making money off of their opinions while trying to keep their credibility then you have "young bucks" trying to establish some credibility & notoriety. It is hard to decide who is right on many of these subjects. I usually follow the money and glean from both sides. However, I laugh at those that suggest "aliens".
Sorry for the tangent... I do consider myself an amateur astronomer so I have a love for these topics.
